We are targeting to touch directly or indirectly the lives of 5 lakh farmers by 2025 .
Purpose : The role will lead the development of our business engagement with farmers /farmer collectives (FPOs/PACS etc) initially focused on the post-harvest value chain in the specified geography/state
Key Responsibilities :
- Connect with FPOs ,PACS and other organized farmer groups and build business engagement initially focused on output marketing & commodity financing as per company policies and strategy
- Develop direct farmer engagement on output marketing & financing through appropriate, sustainable business models of aggregation and collection
- Build relevant partnerships with other companies and groups to connect with farmers and FPOs better
- Identify value-creation opportunities of mutual benefit to farmers and NBHC such as exports , distribution etc
- As a farmer-connect lead, train and work closely with the Asset Management field team in their respective state and help deliver incremental business on agri commerce, lending, professional warehousing etc.
Key Result Areas
- No of farmers with whom business engagement is done, directly or indirectly(FPOs/PACS & other collectives)
- Incremental revenue from farmers/farmer collectives
- Customer service and policy compliance as per NBHC standards
Qualifications/Experience:
- Graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience of hands-on working with farmers/farmer collectives
- Good track record of relationship management and project management
- Market knowledge of agricultural commodities .commercial sense and negotiation skills
- Post-graduates or MBAs will get preference but based on the above pre-requisites.
- It is assumed that business engagement will result in incremental incomes to farmers/Collectives.
