NBC Bearings - Manager - Maintenance

Key expertise required :

a) Improve machine uptime by conducting & reviewing maintenance loss analysis, conducting root cause analysis of major losses & preparing and reviewing an action plan of actionable points to minimize the losses due to machine breakdown in designated Area.

b) Review the status of improvement projects through periodic discussions and meetings with other functions involved and analysis of the findings/data to increase the uptime/ MTBF and MTTR of machinery in designated Area.

c) Monitor consumption of machine spares, spare identification through BOM and ensure availability of critical spares in Grinding, Assembly, Ball, Face and OD and Toolroom.

d) Ensure compliance to production systems by Assessing & maintaining the quality management system adherence.

e) Monitor and execute cost-saving projects like quality, safety, spares, power saving to bring down the overall production costs in the organization in designated Area.

f) Work with other functions to plan and improve plant layout and machinery to optimise space utilization with minimum material movement, Reduce Hyd. Oil consumption in order to reduce downtime and increase machine utilization in designated Area.

g) Ensure adherence to 5S, TQM and TPM( red tags removal) practices, step shift, health check-up and preventive maintenance suggestion activities for the plant area in designated Area.

h) Identification and mitigation of unsafe conditions.

i) Ensure smooth operations of the machines by planning and reviewing daily activities through prev .maint. & predictive maintenance and to ensure adherence to the preventive/predictive maintenance schedule in designated Area.
