About Role:

We are in the process of turbocharging our 'Technology and Startups' division and are looking for Associate Principal/ Principal to be a part of this growth. People on this division will work with founders/ leaders of the largest unicorns/ soonicorns and PE/ VC funds.

Its a P&L and people leadership role with strong sales and advisory orientation. We are looking for aggressive, analytical and relationship oriented individuals with a strong hands on execution skills - someone who can think on the feet and come up with innovative solutions. Multi taskers & self-starters with articulate communication & people engagement skills are particularly successful @ Native and in Executive search industry.

Role Details :

- Ownership of your own P&L, Responsible for delivering growth in line with department goals.

- Hire and manage a team of associates and consultants.

- Display effective leadership and ensure that your team grows to take on larger challenges.

- Build your own portfolio of clients and strategic relationships.

- Client Acquisition - Responsible for managing existing clientele and take a lead in acquiring new clients.

- Understand and tap into talent supply chain of your domain, by building long term relationships with key talent/ CXOs/ Leaders.

- Run end to end search assignments for your clients, including candidate assessment, screening and offer negotiation. Also guide and mentor your team in doing the same.

- Build strategic understanding of the startup ecosystem and your domain e.g - life cycle of a startup and its evolving needs, Difference between startup needs across sub sectors (Fintech vs Ecommerce)

- Leverage this understanding to advise your to help them in effective decision making.

- Become a 'Go to Career Advisor' to top talent in the industry by leveraging the combination of relationship and advisory skills.

- Become the 'Go-To Consultant' for the clients in your domain.

- Study compensation structures, talent trends and key data points for your domain.

- Keeping clients updated on the Industry (Leadership movements, best practices, M&As, new product launches, new businesses etc)

- Responsible for department management, ensuring knowledge building, training and growth in firm IP.
