Job Description :
The primary responsibility is to the manage Technical function by providing functional support to internal departments for the Mortgage business.
- Provide oversight and independent view to the Credit function on risk associated with real estate technical matters
- Periodic random review of valuation reports and highlight concerns/issues to the management team
- Build and set up a of a team of real estate technical experts in the zones/regions who will assist in the correct and qualitative technical process
- Act as an expert in technical matters relating to statutory laws on real estate, urban / rural planning authorities, local practices and do's/don'ts in specific markets, types of property etc.
- Review and update real estate valuation policy and standards in line with market developments and best practices
- Should have sound knowledge of SARFAESI, arbitration and such enforcement-related processes
- Review and update best practices on valuation report structure and content to improve the quality of the valuation report appropriate to the type of lending
- Qualitative assessment of high-ticket real estate properties
Job Description :
- Managing relationships with relevant partners like technical firms etc. including appointment and empanelment of Valuers as well as train and control the quality of the external technical vendors
- Strive towards the building of quality portfolio with continuous growth in AUM year-on-year
- Publish reports on real estate price trends, demand-supply pattern, regulatory/statutory policies related to the sector and identify potential risk area along with attendant safeguards
