National Sales Training Lead/Chief Manager - Sales Training - FMCG (10-15 yrs)

The position will be responsible to build the capability of the pan India Sales Organization in line with the demands of the sales strategy of the organization.


Drive the implementation and adoption of sales force applications and technology enabled learning platforms, design and delivery of induction programs for all levels of sales hierarchy and content development for workshops in line with the emerging needs of the sales organization. Help provide performance coaching to sales force so as to ensure high performance and higher incentive pay outs. The incumbent will also help in sales leadership development.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Sales Development Head and GM HR Reportees: Business Training Managers

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Minimum 10-12 Years of experience in sales. At least 2 years as a people manager

- At least 7 years of experience in sales training preferably in the FMCG/ OTC space

- Proven work experience as a Sales training specialist or Sales training coordinator.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Assisting Key Business Agenda

- Design the sales training strategy in alignment with the sales plan for the year.

- Design and rollout of the sales training calendar for the year.

- Ensure low time to productivity of new joiners across sales hierarchy through a robust induction process.

- Design and delivery of development center process for all levels of sales hierarchy.

- Ensure the front line sales is well equipped to meet their productivity targets through need based instructor led training / performance coaching / on the job learning assignments.

- Partner with technology team to ensure technology adoption and embedment with the salesteam e.g. sales force application, distributor management system etc.

- Evaluation and implementation and adoption of suitable learning management systems for the front line sales

- Institutionalization and Implementation of best practices in sales development

- Development of skills of the business training managers and ensuring high engagement People Management and Development

- Hire, train, deploy and retain the members of the Sales training organization in accordance with the business requirements
