The role is for the Offline Organized Business The organisations payment solution for merchants is a multi-instrument payments container and enables National Brands in the Offline Organized Retail space to accept payments digitally from their consumers.

- The endeavour is to provide the best in class consumer and merchant experience in the context of digital payments and develop deep partnerships with the merchants in driving various business priorities

About the Role :

- The incumbent would manage sales & operations for the offline organized retail business nationally across all cities/towns where the organisation has an on ground presence through its field teams

- This is a people leadership role and one would need to manage a big team of Associate Managers managing city sales and operations and in turn large feet on street teams across all these cities

Key Responsibilities :

a. Managing Network Layout for the Franchisee based Business - Responsible for driving the merchant on-boarding plans across the country in categories which are indexed on COCO & franchisee model across categories

b. Managing Network Activation and Health-For stores across all categories: F&B, Grocery, Pharmacy, Dairy, Lifestyle, Consumer Electronics, Healthcare and Entertainment - Training and activation of outlets through the city teams - Relationship Management with the Merchants regional teams through the City Managers - Evolve the right servicing mechanism of the stores through the field executives, put in place processes to ensure rigour in servicing as per laid out plans

c. Key Deliverables- Topline and Network Health as per defined metrics for all other categories

d. Process Management- Put in place rigorous, scalable processes at each city level to facilitate the following: -Efficient functioning of the ground teams - Handshake mechanism for execution of tasks and for setting up a feedback loop between categories and city teams

e. Internal Stakeholder Management - Create procedural/tech enablers for the teams by interfacing with functions like Product, Operations - Interface with compliance/audit functions to put in place processes as per compliance requirements and take course corrections, wherever necessary

f. Team Leadership - Lead a large team from the front - Responsible for cultural alignment of each of the teams with the organizations culture and values - Training and development of the city managers. Build a leadership pipeline within the function - Put in place right processes for training and development of field executives - Responsible for giving inputs for putting in place HR processes and then for their seamless implementation for the large field sales team-Appraisals, Incentives etc

g. Business Strategy - Basis on ground assessment, contribute to the product strategy and go to market strategy for the Offline Organized business

Requirements :

This is a role which has a large span of control and involves complex interfaces and requires the candidate to have the following key competencies :

- Passion for Sales & Operations

- Solid execution orientation backed by a strong drive which is needed to build a large business across the country

- Multitasking and dynamism

- One must be comfortable driving multiple priorities at a fast pace

- Strong people skills

- This role has multiple complex interfaces and requires one to deal with conflicting priorities frequently.

- A mature, composed, objective oriented person would be able to do full justice to the role

- Process and Data Orientation

- MBA from a Tier I B-school

- 4+ years of experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
