Job description : The sales manager will be responsible for driving white space sales team across India. Focus areas includes: sales execution, sales team productivity, training of sales personnel and sales performance analysis. The Whitespace Leader will be hands-- on providing mentorship and development to Sales team. Responsibilities: - Directly supervises Whitespace Sales team. Will have 5 to 6 Direct Reportees. - Works closely with other business functions Sales/Channel/Presales/Cloud leaders. - Work closely with Marketing team for lead generation - Identify areas/territories of investment to grow the business by hiring sales representative for respective territories. - Work qualified opportunities to close-- Train direct reportees on full cycle selling, moving the team from lead qualification to full cycle sales - Own the sales funnel from top to bottom -- from sales lead to closure. - Own all sales conversion metrics and quarterly goals. This includes RFP, RFI and RFQ. - Effectively guide sales team in use of Salesforce (or other CRM) system while creating metrics to improve sales and operational performance-- Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue objectives. - Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the team quarterly and yearly. - Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers and business partner - Identifying business partners and maintaining and promoting growth with existing partners and direct customer accounts. - Plan to ensure achievement of target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies. - Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and quarterly sales targets and KPI target are met. - Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition. - Provide on - the - ground support for the sales team as they generate leads and close new deals - Meet with customers and partners to ensure business relationship and support the team during any stage of the sales cycle. - Recommend or implement companies new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics. - Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan with the team - Working closely with Sales Ops to maintain data relative to opportunities, accounts and activities. Requirements : - Must have managed an Enterprise sales team for a minimum of 4 to 5 years. - Must have exceeded quota expectations, closing over 100% of quota, or over $2M in business/year. - Must possess the leadership qualities of being: (1) a great Recruiter (2) a great sales Trainer and (3) an Inspiring &amp; Motivating Leader. - Experience should include 7+ years of Enterprise sales experience with an enterprise software and/or SaaS company. - Must have experience of running a sales funnel -- from marketing to lead to close - Excellent leadership, energy, judgment, communication, interpersonal, management and analytical skills required. - Passionate about growing and building a business to its full potential. - Should have market intelligence in the field of Enterprise security. - Should have managed a team for commercial business/Medium Enterprise business across the country. - Should have worked with cross functional teams to find reference accounts and ambassadors to champion sales to closure. - A successful track record of milestone achievement, operational excellence and strong cross-- functional skills. - Recognized as a high achiever who is willing to work broadly to resolve issues in an inclusive way, and significant experience with Enterprise sales process improvement (from opportunity creation through deal completion).
