- Develop and execute business development strategy and plan, both short term and long term, to ensure achievement of company's sales targets, growth in profits, and expansion of company's products and services. - Formulating strategies and reaching out to unexplored market segments for business expansion. - Responsible for driving pan India sales for critical care/hospital relationships. - Guide the current regional managers to increase the no of hospital clients for both Power and tail products/brands. - Take ownership and create a structure for the Sales function based on the business context and direction of the organization. - Deliver consistent sales performance in accordance with the business plans. - Create monitoring and measurement mechanisms for gauging the performance of the function and contribution toward overall business objectives. - Build a sales capability organization to generate and develop a pipeline of the frontline sales talent pool. - Training and Development of sales team, providing timely feedback in the market and through monthly review and meetings. - Monitor the competitive pricing and work closely with Strategic Pricing to develop the right price benchmarking vis- vis competitive brands. - Responsible for developing strategies to enhance customer relations and building cordial relationships through regular interactions with customers. - Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and maximize sales performance in the most efficient, cost-effective, and commercial manner. - Provide outstanding customer service through prompt and accurate support and advice. - Evaluate market research, competitor and customer surveys and execute strategies in line with evaluations. - Periodically review distributor performance through Regional Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps. - Coordinate, prepare, and launch new products for the assigned market.
