Our client is a major electrical and electronics manufacturing company that specializes in products and solutions specifically designed for the modern needs of Indian utilities and power sector.

Description :

- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals

- Responsible for development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the regional managers, specification managers for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.


- Efficient distributor management : Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners, close engagement with distributors to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals, evaluate distributors sales performance and recommend improvements, develop positive working relationship with partners to build business, drive/propose marketing activities such as tradeshows, offers, campaigns and other promotional activities for the distributors/partners.


- Set action plans in line with sales strategy


- Set and follow-up the targets/priorities for regional sales managers


- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives


- Evangelize the product and personally help close large deals


- Work collaboratively across teams - including factory, Engineering, Product and Marketing


- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development


- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally


- Set short- and long-term channel sales strategies


Profile :

- B.tech ( Electrical ) is a must, MBA/Business education (is an added advantage)

- 15 years of experience in channel and distribution sales of electrical and electronics products


- Should have led a team of managers for last 5years minimum


- Strong leadership and collaborative skills


- Excellent communication skills


- Ability to negotiate and structure partnerships
