National Sales Manager - Automobile (10-15 yrs)

Candidate with good experience in Automobile industry - Two wheeler or Passenger Car segment.

- Memorable customer experience is non-negotiable. How we get there is what this role is about. You will be defining the end-to-end purchase experience, building on some of the blocks that have already been defined i.e online sales strategy, our plans on experience centers, back-end processes & tools, etc. We expect you to identify the missing pieces in the experience that's been defined so far, and take it to next level.

- Retail spaces are highly dynamic today. They will need to constantly evolve based on changing consumer, design and technology trends. You will be responsible for generating ideas for future retail strategy, bring the team up to speed on market trends, competition, and business environment.

- While we will be launching the product in Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune in the first phase, we will soon have to scale up and move to other markets. You will be responsible for identifying new potential markets and devising launch strategies for the same.

- Decision making pertaining to day-to-day operations and strategic planning of resources will be part of your scope.

- It will be a completely new operation plan that you will be executing. You will be responsible for complying to all policies and procedures, meet statutory requirements and risk mitigation for the organization.

- Being in a lead role, you will be responsible for building a strong team culture within the retail team, mentoring the team and identifying skills & opportunities for development.

- 10-12 years of sales+retail experience ideally in Automobile / Technology / Luxury / Electronic goods categories. Operational expertise, team management skills and good technical understanding is a must.


- Previous experience with online purchase models/e-commerce/ developing new sales processes / setting up experience centers will be desirable.

- Ideally an engineering/science background with a management degree in Sales & Marketing / Operations.
