Job Purpose
This role involves developing and executing national sales strategies, managing a team of Regional Sales Managers, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives set by the company. Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President Sales & Marketing, the National Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong customer relationships on a national scale.

Operational
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans at the national level to achieve sales targets and objectives in alignment with overall corporate goals and objectives.
2. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers across various regions to ensure alignment with national sales strategies and consistent achievement of targets.
3. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze national sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Take proactive measures to optimize sales performance and drive continuous improvement.
4. Market Analysis and Business Development: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities at the national level. Develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and expand market share.
5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners at the national level to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
6. Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives and programs that support sales growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the national sales budget effectively to optimize resources and achieve desired outcomes. Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, operations, and product management to ensure alignment and support for national sales initiatives.
9. Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to the regional sales teams to enhance their skills, capabilities, and performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.
10. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and updates on national sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives for senior management review. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure transparency and alignment.

Job Specifications
Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
