Brief About the Role Job Description : The National Sales Head (NSH) - Direct Sales will be leading the fast growing Direct sales team and shall be accountable for the achievement of sales, revenue and profitability targets through this channel. The NSH shall be responsible for direct selling branches in top cities, which we plan to expand over a period of time. The endeavor of the NSH will be to ramp up branch operations through multiple expansion initiatives as well as set up new geographies. The NSH is responsible for his/her assigned team's sales productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results. The NSH manages all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including - Go to Market- strategies, Product Planning, lead management, hiring, supervising, coaching, disciplining, and motivating the team. Job Responsibilities : 1. The job requires leading the Direct Sales team and ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort meets company expectations. 2. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets. 3. Develop and execute - Go to Market- and strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base 4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships 5. Should have a - Design thinking- mindset to understand customer needs and objectives and proactively redesign and re-engineer consumer journeys to improve overall consumer experience. 6. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. 7. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends 8. Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts 9. Monitoring and working on various sales performance metrics with focus on productivity improvement. Responsible for ensuring profitable sales at each branch level. 10. Positively impacts the performance of individual sales team members by implementing and managing field support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication tools. 11. Works closely with marketing teams to ensure market level strategic and business objectives are met. 12. Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives. 13. Leads field forecasting efforts among the team, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis. 14. Provides a management level point of contact for key customers. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships for referrals. Organizational Alignment : 1. Reports to Chief Business Officer. 2. Manages and leads the team of Direct Field Sales at Pan India Level 3. Directly manages Regional Sales Heads and an overall team size of 250 in house sales executives 4. Works closely with Marketing, Product and telesales units to ensure customer satisfaction, and high levels of field sales support. Qualifications : 1. B-Tech &amp; MBA. 2. Proven sales experience of leading Direct Sales teams at a National Level. 3. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level 4. Tele Sales / Call Center background would be an added advantage. 5. Minimum 15+ years of sales management experience preferable in managing field sales team. Should ideally have experience of managing teams across different locations and geographies 6. B2C Experience of 5 plus years preferably in Financial Services (Banking, Credit Cards, Loans, CASA), Education, Insurance, Holiday /Space selling, Online Sales, Concept Selling. 7. Excellent Relationship Management Skills. 8. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills 9. Excellent verbal and written communications skills 10. Ability to understand the local marketplace and adapt to the needs of the market situations from time to time. 11. A good thinker and a great motivator with an eye for hiring good talent to build up a strong team. Working Days : - 6 days working including Saturday and Sunday (Monday fixed off).
