National Product Head - Equipment Finance - IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI

Role Description: National Product Head Equipment Finance

Role & Responsibility:

- Ensure overall business direction through identification of key strategic segments for tapping profitable & quality business opportunities and launching new initiatives/ products

- Lead product development, business development and market & competitor intelligence.

- Develop systems & processes for efficient transaction processing & information capturing through interaction with product partners, credit approvers, marketing unit, other value centres, and service delivery units.

- Own Budgets and Business Plan

- Create product kits for new products and also ensure, on an ongoing basis, that the pre-sanction/ post-disbursal documentation remains standard and effective whilst adhering to internal norms.

- Partner with Risk Policy teams to formulate and roll out Underwriting standards/ PADs and to formulate effective credit scoring mechanisms.

- Collaborate with credit to launch programs with the objective to extend offering to new segments/ products in due course.

- Ensure control requirements of the business are adhered to in line with Group policies

Competencies & Skills:

This role reports into the Equipment Finance Head. The candidate should have and MBA from a Tier 1 school and 12+ years of relevant working experience in asset backed lending space with a strong industry specialization. The right candidate, amongst other skills, should have the following traits:

- Functional knowledge of financial services industry, consumer lending business, and functional knowledge of technology
