India's best chance at curbing poverty, is giving our women and their families the skills to manage their money better. It has partnered with Parinaam Foundation to build financial literacy initiatives to make every underprivileged woman financially literate.

Our in classroom trainings for women and children, Diksha and Chillar Bank have been designed to give low income families across India the knowledge and tools they need to save safely, reduce financial risk and make informed, intelligent financial decisions.


Daksha is one of India's most renowned and well executed financial literacy programs. We have over 70 trainers across the country educating and training women every day. Our work has been recognized and appreciated by the Reserve Bank of India.

Responsibilities :

Financial literacy :

- Managing a team of 85 employees across the four regions.

- Seamless integration of the Financial Inclusion and Literacy Program with the Business teams.

- Strategic Planning, Implementation and scaling up of all financial literacy initiatives.

- Creating the Annual Plan and Budget. Monitoring expenditure against budgetary targets and manage the operations cost effectively.

- Reporting to RBI on financial inclusion and driving RBI themes across India in urban and rural branches.

- Meeting the impact target, building capacity of teams, active monitoring and using data evidence to evaluate impact.

- Travelling across country to strengthen implementation follow up the team's activities.

Corporate Social Responsibility :

- Build strategy and roadmap for corporate social responsibility

- Identify and build partnerships with relevant Ngo's across the country.

- Work with internal team in identifying and supporting initiatives at regional level.

- Guide the internal teams, monitor the programs, create SOPs on various process

- Present the development to board, internal communication and national and regional leadership teams.

- Ensure media visibility of the CSR initiatives across regions

- Track utilization, impact and program quality at the field level

- Maintain historical data on projects, cost, impact, documents, reports and provide information to relevant stakeholders as and when needed or on ad-hoc basis

- Build capacities and capabilities to perform and validate programs

Monitoring and Review :

- Manage Impact assessment or external validation of the program.

- Adhere to timelines on all reports and performance updates

- Ensure goal setting, target and performance reviews

- Ensure that the regional project teams are maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of all their daily program implementation and planning.
