National Manager - Public Affair & Communication - FMCG (10-15 yrs)
Function: Public Affairs and Communication
Work Location: Siliguri
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to design and develop plans to mitigate and manage risk to business operations
- Develop and implement engagement plans for the factory's local community and its stakeholders-, including but not limited to local municipal corporations, Industrial Development Corporations, State Pollution Control Board and Water Authorities, other relevant local statutory, regulatory and enforcement authorities
- Execute the company's long-term water, waste, agriculture, climate change and community initiatives in and around the factory
- Collaborate and engage with members of the public, industry associations, media, and NGOs in and around the factory
- Develop and implement programs, events and communication plans that integrate with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Act as an advisor, counsellor to factory managers and the operating teams on public affairs and community issues
- Implement guidelines, narratives, and experience for factory tours by visitors including regulatory and government officials
- Act as the local IMCR (Incident Management and Crisis Resolution) Manager and implement risk management initiatives
- Monitor critical consumer concerns and support Business Units on the same through the knowledge of Consumer Response System and ensure timely resolution of incidents
