Position Title: National Legal Manager

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Chief Credit Officer - Affordable Housing

Handling Team of: Legal (4 members @ Regional & Zonal Level)

- They are now expanding rapidly in the affordable housing space and offers the following product suite:

Home Loans for Residential, Commercial & Plot collateral security.

Home Loans starting from as low as Rs.3 Lac onwards

Home Loans for a wide range of personal & business purposes through Loan Against Property.

Wide Home Loan tenures ranging from 1 to 20 years .

They also provide Project Finance for Developers.

Responsibilities:

1. To setup team and systems to conduct and/or review the title verifications of properties offered as security

2. To design / create and ensure adherence of legal manual for respective state / region

3. To empanel, monitor, train and control the quality of the external legal vendors for the title verification and related jobs

4. To provide support for designing/customisation of loan documents / agreements

5. To keep track of all latest developments/trends in local law / best practices wrt mortgage, security creation and loan documentations.

6. To prepare market studies and internal appraisals, provide regular market intelligence to Sr management / other stakeholders

7. To develop / train / maintain team of regional legal advisors to support the business requirements

Expectations:

- Adequate knowledge of various parameters/ aspect of title verification, stamp duty, transfer of property etc.

- LLB/ LLM with minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience
