Job Purpose :
- Lead the delivery function within marketing technology Platform life cycle management & platform feature sets
- Manage an external partner ecosystem of platform providers & developers.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
DELIVERY :
- Identify, scope out and deliver new platforms for marketing related initiatives
- Undertake all initiatives around building new capabilities and functionalities in existing and new platforms
- Work directly with external developer agencies to deliver new capabilities
- Manage platform roadmap and life cycle for all marketing platforms
- Create test use cases to leverage features of existing platforms
- Manage development and delivery of technology solutions
- Support and deliver IT and Technology Development Strategy
- Ensure that technology solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with architectural principles, standards and roadmaps
- Consider financial impact of technology solutions, with a view to delivering value to our customers
- Develop coding and development standards, ensuring solutions are suitably assured and of quality. Understand business requirements
- Provide technical leadership and innovation across all aspects of technology development
- Develop and maintain effective ways of working throughout the department and organization
- Lead transition of solutions to outsource partner and into live service, where applicable
- Provide support and mentoring to technical team leads, including talent and succession planning
- Lead and manage technical delivery resources
EXPERIENCE :
- 10-12 years experience in Technology with at least 6-8 years of experience in delivery on various content management systems
- At least 4 years of experience in Oracle Web Center ; Hands-on experience in project delivery across a suite of enterprise marketing platforms
- Previous experience in managing large scale implementations involving multiple partners ; Relevant experience in UI/UX will be a desirable plus.
