National Key Account Manager - Modern Trade - Pharmacy Chain (10-15 yrs)

Role Objective: 


- To apply strategies and drive business plans for respective customer segments of Modern Trade Pharmacy Chains like Apollo,Medplus pharmacies and deliver the required financial results by leading execution.

- This role will play crucial role in cultivating strong relationships with the key stakeholders at these pharmacy chains to driveaffinity towards OneTouch products, drive key decisions on availability and activities for OneTouch products and ensureadherence of execution for the KAMs across India. Guide and develop KAMs to improve their performance and build long term career.

Key Responsibility : 

1. Responsible for overall business and relationship management including negotiations, selection, on boarding, and relationship management with Modern Trade chains including marketing activities, maximum product activation and growth discussions.

2. Develop critical pillars to drive short & long-term growth of the Modern Trade Accounts.

3. Develop a robust & appropriate merchandising/local level sales support mechanism.

4. Driving Business Plan numbers for Key Accounts within agreed budget spends (P&L) for Achieving Top Line & Bottom Line.

5. Channel/Chain initiatives in terms of Consumer Promotions & Visibility for driving business goals at a national level.

6. Manage a team of KAM's to drive and deliver accounts

7. Spearhead the MT business through plans, promotions, visibility, activations, planogram to execute perfect stores metrics in the stores (Right Assortment, share of shelf, focus Product promotions, propositions (POSM materials, etc.) to win in the markets.

8. Achieve budgeted sales targets for the Modern Trade through prudent deployment of resources, review of performance, evaluation of progress and preparing subsequent action plans.

9. Negotiating & Reviewing the TOTs for all national chains & regional chains in a timely manner.

10. Ensure seamless cash flow and clearance of Debit Notes & facilitating the Account reconciliations.

11. Able to inspire, develop and retain high potential talent & Capability Building of the employees to create future pipeline ready

12. To ensure Ethics and Compliance

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree with MBA/PGDM Mandatory

Total Experience 10 - 15 Years of Experience

Relevant Experience :

- 3-5 years of managerial experience as a NKAM i.e. managed Regional/National team

- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Apollo/Med smart accounts (purchasing arm of Apollo pharmacies)

Only candidates from Industries- Surgical, Devices, Pharma, Healthcare, OTC industry is preferable
