National Key Account Manager - eCommerce (4-8 yrs)
We are looking for a National Key Account Manager-Ecommerce who can develop, drive and expand the eCommerce channel, drive online sales and increase online penetration. This role will own the P&L of the E-Com channel, develop the business model, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them; also, play a key role in influencing the leadership by converting strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete PL, Sales, Operations, Inventory, and gross margins.
- Identify potential business opportunities in the channel and ensure onboarding of the customers.
- Make a Joint Business Plan with all eCommerce, and Institutional Key Accounts, breaking year targets into month and quarter.
- Customer wise planning of shopper activities to drive monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Finalize investments into various customers and ensure ROI on the investments.
- Align sales and marketing teams to the JBP and ensure execution of collaterals, activities, stock supplies.
- Planning and negotiating trading terms to ensure smooth execution and availability of our products.
Execution :
- Coordinating with field implementation teams to ensure that month to month activities are executed to drive availability and sales
- Ensuring all relevant products are listed with all the Institutional & Ecommerce customers in India (national and regional)
- Manage relationships with category managers and category heads at all Institutional & Ecommerce customers (national and regional)
Capabilities :
- Build organization capabilities to ensure best in class distribution and achieve fill rates of over 90%
- Build platforms for top-to-top engagement with Key customers
- Work with marketing to build and execute an assortment strategy at a customer level.
- Forecast along with the vendors and the e-commerce portal on the increase in traffic during the promotions.
- Ensure the listing of all live products on e-commerce portals
- Work closely with the larger Sales Team along with a cross-functional team of Product, Finance and Customer support team to drive high-quality field execution.
- Spend money well to drive our business objectives. In other words, have a strong ROI mentality, be brutally honest, learn and spend money accordingly.
Desired candidate profile :
Must haves:
- 6-7 years of experience in handling accounts management and E-Commerce
