National Head - Non-Motor Claims

We have urgent requirement for National Claims Head for a leading Insurance Broking client.

Role Description :

- Handling Non Motor claims - Engineering, Fire, Marine Cargo and Miscellaneous.

- Monitoring the claims from the time of registration till the same gets concluded.

- Checking the coverage details with regards to admissibility.

- Deputing a Competent Independent surveyor who has an expertise.

- Scrutinizing the Preliminary reports & making adequate reserves.

- Processing/ Settlement of Claims and Scrutinizing of Survey Reports by Verifying Policy terms & conditions and clauses.

- Carrying out Non Motors Surveys: Fire, Engineering, Marine & Miscellaneous losses.

- Preparation of In-house survey Reports & Processing of those claims.

- Providing Technical inputs, advices, guidance to Underwriting team & Risk Managers. Accompanying Underwriters & Risk Managers for Risk Inspections. Mentoring & guiding the juniors.

- Valuation and property assessment.

- MIS and Data Analysis

Requirements :

- Developing good professional relations with Internal as well as External Customers.

- Excellent Leadership, written, communication, inter personal, liaison and problem solving skills with the ability to work in multi cultural environment.

- Should have handled large property claims.
