Job Responsibilities:
- Implement robust systems to ensure that distributor claims are settled in a timely manner. This includes working closely with external stakeholders (Distributors) in terms of defining & explaining the process for claims and also with internal stakeholders (Business, Finance, SC & Legal) to streamline the claim process and settlement.
- Work jointly with Zonal Managers / Sales Managers to ensure Distributor AR, collaterals & DSO are within mutually agreed norms.
- Shift distributor's focus from - just achieving the AOP- to - HOW- of it. This will also include making distributors OWN the AOP and agreed norms & ways of working.
- Bring in more transparency while managing distributors by ensuring periodic distributor reviews which are well documented and shared with the respective distributors.
- Strategic distribution alignment within CVG businesses. This includes consolidation of distributors with synergetic CVG business lines. Increased MIND share of MDT with the distributors.
- Analyze and optimize distributor margins where ever required. Drive the concept of Return on Investment with the distributors.
- Circulates dashboards of key metrics achievement / periodic presentations / updates to ILT on key achievements and challenges.
- Creating bench strength of distributors & evaluation of potential distributors fit for CVG businesses.
- New distributor appointments, distributor contract renewals and coordination of Due Diligence process for the same.
- Build and own the policy on rewards and recognition for the distributors in line with the MDT Distribution policy
- Build and own the policy on termination / exit for the distributors in line with the MDT Distribution policy
- Ensure that all distributor transactions with MDT are compliant with MDT regulatory, compliance and legal framework.
