GENERAL DESCRIPTION

P&L Management of National Distribution (Transportation) business on all India basis through effective Product Development, Business generation, Operations Management, Customer & Vendor Management, Financial and cost control to achieve overall Organizational growth plans.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES - 

- Establish overall Transportation Business Model

- Establish Infrastructure, Network, Processes & Systems to develop the Transportation Product

- Quality, Technology, & Compliance in Transport Operations

- Costs and Profit Management by optimizing resources & by driving continuous improvements

- Monitor Customer KPI's & conduct periodic reviews to ensure an effective Transport Operations in Country

- Build, develop and manage an effective, committed, & self-motivated Team.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Post-graduation in Supply Chain Management

2. Total 15-18 years of Experience out of which 10-12 years of Transportation Industry experience with at least 5 years in P&L role/responsibility

3. Should have handled network of > 100 branches and total Freight Revenue of approximately 200 crores

4. Proven Track record of managing Hub & Spoke Door to Door Network as well as FTL/LTL business

5. Proven Track record in start-up environment would be an added advantage
