This position is responsible for driving the business nationally with respect to distribution channel
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualize and implement long term strategies for distribution expansion in India
- Build the distribution network by appointing distributors and sub-dealers
- Monitor Distribution Sales Processes PAN India
- Tracking Primary /Secondary Sales, Inventories
- Building Sales Forecasting
- Enhancing Distributor Engagement.
- Tracking throughput per store and ways to increase the same
- Manage the distributor network and mentor the in-house distribution team
- Ensure timely execution of training interventions for Sub dealers & influencers
- Analyze and evaluate regions/zones regarding sales trends, sales potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and distributor performance
- Prepare annual sales forecast for Distribution channel based on expansion plan, desired throughput, market potentials, competition benchmarking et al
- Design & execute BTL activities to capture relevant market opportunities
- Coordinate closely with product & channel marketing w.r.t. new product launches & sales promotions
- Coordinate closely with Retail Execution Team for timely sub-dealer store opening
