Hiring for a newly startup small finance bank

Position: National Credit Manager

Preferred candidate handling credit of Affordable Housing Loan

Area to be handled: Pan India

Product: Loan Against Property & Home Loan

The position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers. As a National Credit Manager responsible for appraising and assessing risks for loans Pan India.

Tentative Principal Accountability:

Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives.

Measure department performance with appropriate metrics.

Provide for ongoing training of the credit staff.

Manage relations with credit reporting agencies

Ensure that there is no compromise on the Quality of Credit and maintain a healthy portfolio.

Maintain the corporate credit policy

Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management

Create a credit scoring model

Manage customer credit files checking customers credit rating with banks and credit reference agencies
