National Business Head - P&L - Agri (15-22 yrs)
National Business Lead (Field Crops Agri company)
We are currently hiring an experienced National Business P&L Head for a well-established brand and a market leader in high quality seeds.
A leadership role that will be responsible to create a roadmap for all sales, marketing, research, production initiatives for Field Crops business pan India.
Location: Hyderabad or Delhi
Please note this role requires you to be a post graduate in Agri with over 15 years of subsequent experience (majority in field crops) in an agri firm (NON NEGOTIABLE).
Key Responsibilities:
- To guide Marketing & Sales Head to strategize the marketing & sales plan to achieve the business targets.
- To coordinate with Research & Development to develop right products for the required market segments.
- To involve Product Development team with Marketing & Sales team to make sure the trials are done in different market segments.
- To prepare & control the annual budgets on the opex / capex with bottom line focus.
- To coordinate with Production & Operations to make sure the supply chain delivers the products on time.
- Multi Stakeholder Management (both External and Internal).
- To build, motivate, train & develop the team members continuously.
- To identify & develop leaders at different levels to facilitate succession planning in the team.
Required Traits:
- Over 15 years of experience of working in seeds with major experience in Field Crop Business - Markets, Products & Segments
- Strong experience of leading P&L in an Agri company
- Knowledge of Product Development & Breeding Processes
- Leadership & Team Building Skills
- Professional Selling Skills
- Interpersonal Relationship Skills
- Integrity
