Job Description: - Candidate should be able to consistently create impactful communication collateral across various social media platforms in English. Candidate will be expected to ideate and provide content and direction to graphic designers and video editors to produce ready to publish graphics and videos. Day-to-day responsibilities entail: - Writing, editing and publishing engaging content in English in the form of graphic copies and video scripts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - Optimizing social media posts (language, tone, message) based on target audiences behaviors - Selecting appealing images and videos to complement text - Being on top of news all the time - Proactively looking for topics and stories that are consistent with the long-term narrative goal of the social media property - Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates) In addition, the candidate should have the following skill set: - Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role - Basic understanding of political landscape of the country and right wing ideology - Ability to do basic research and identify key points that can be translated into compelling posts - Ability to translate a brief into fine crafted communication collateral - Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
