We are looking for a data analyst who is keen on solving problems from first principles and provides insights and actionables to the team. Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline from a reputed institute. - Should have relevant experience of 0-2 years in the field of analytics/data science, designing & implementing statistical models &amp; reporting systems using automation tools. - Technical capabilities (Hands on) : Python (Pandas, SciPy, Sklearn, PyMc), Statistics, SQL, Data visualization. Some experience with NLP is a plus. Knowledge of Bayesian Statistics is a plus. Handling very large, unstructured, multi-dimensional, different variety of data sets. - Problem Solving: Aptitude and curiosity for solving problems. - Penchant for business, curiosity about numbers and persistence to work with data to tease out insights Roles and Responsibilities: - Analyzing Demographics &amp; Electoral data at all levels (Booth, Constituency, State, etc.) to build statistical models that help in getting meaningful insights - Designing and implementing various methods of primary data collection (surveys) through various channels, and processing and analysing the results of the same - Identify &amp; Understand the KPIs, areas of opportunity, trends of the matrices of the on-going projects &amp; recommend actions to the respective stakeholders to help them drive their projects - Produce regular reports and analysis, write systems queries to gather data, perform data mining and analysis , identify trends and develop forecasts. - Track project issues, concerns, deliverables, and acceptance criteria. - Collaborate with business, product and technology teams to implement projects. - Defining configuration specifications, business analysis requirements and performing quality assurance. - Be the custodian of organizational data and help with maintenance and utilization of data with multiple teams.
