Job Description:

We are seeking an intellectually curious and analytical professional with a "can-do" attitude to join our team as a Research Analyst - Alternative Assets. The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth research, analyze market trends, and prepare insightful reports to support investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research & Investment Insights: Conduct research and analysis on various alternative asset classes, including private equity, real estate, structured debt, start-ups, fintech products, hedge funds, and commodities.

- Product Notes & Investment Reports: Prepare high-quality research reports, investment notes, product notes and updates on alternative assets for both internal and client use.

- Due Diligence & Risk Assessment: Assist in evaluating investment risks, financial models, and legal frameworks associated with alternative asset transactions.

- Sales & Client Engagement: Coordinate with clients, understand their investment needs, and effectively communicate product offerings.

- Industry Networking & Collaboration: Develop relationships with fund managers, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders to gain insights into emerging investment opportunities.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the wealth product research department AIFs, PE/VC funds, or similar domains.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of alternative asset markets and investment structures.

- Sales & Communication Skills: Ability to engage with clients, explain complex financial products, and support sales efforts.

- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial models, market trends, and investment analysis.

- Written & Verbal Communication: Excellent ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

- Professionalism & Discretion: High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling client relationships and transactions.
