What You'll Do : - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (such as supply, finance, marketing, content providers like GDS and airlines) to implement and optimize features in flight search (enhancing requests and processing of results to create and select itineraries and deals). - Define product specifications, establish milestones, manage tech design, development, and QA for your scrum team of 6-8 engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of products by this team. - Monitor quantitative data on KPIs related to platform health and content quality (competitiveness, coverage) and understand the relationship between these metrics and user conversion metrics. - Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems. - Be the glue! As a product manager, it's part of your job to communicate regularly with all team members and keep the organization united. - Be hands-on. Our lean team requires you to be versatile, tackling both high-level strategy planning and diving into database records to troubleshoot issues. What We're Looking For : - 6+ years of experience as a product manager, with at least 2 working with a backend engineering team to deliver APIs or similar technology/SaaS solution products. - Experience running agile scrum product development with teams of 6-8 engineers. - Proficiency in balancing and prioritizing the needs of internal and external stakeholders. - An experimental and data-driven approach. Strong analytical skills. Capable of interpreting data and trends, diagnosing problems, and recommending action plans to resolve issues. - A high-EQ people-leader who fosters and maintains strong team culture and stakeholder relationships. - A self-starter who is highly organized, confident, and able to advance projects with minimal direction while staying aligned with team best practices. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - from product specifications to JIRA tickets to stakeholder presentations. - Experience with basic SQL. - A passion for working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with multiple responsibilities. - Experience in airline/GDS is a plus. - BS/BA required. - A proven history of embracing values important to Mystifly: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
