Deputy Director-Category Services

Role :

- An inspired and astute leader who is skilful at managing relationships solving problems while always preserving the creative team's mission and focus. This person must have strong communication skills, be incredibly organized, and maintain a level of respect and education to others on the creative process.

Responsibilities :

- Problem solve and own scale up different marketplace models.

- Think, design and execute end to end flows for these models.

- Challenge existing flows

- Team player. Ability to work in challenging environment adjustments are necessary. Would toward automating manual work flows

- Actively participate in project work groups. Coordinates meetings whenever necessary contribute to planning, coordination of project resources and communicates with project stakeholders to collect and disseminate project information.

- Work closely with internal and external tech teams to develop newer systems for creative Automation and personalization.

- Strong project and communication skills to a variety of stakeholders with the ability to deliver engaging, informative, well-organized information and provide status reports and progress updates as needed.

- Work with the individual teams to develop or modify SOP's.

- Review resource scheduling, report progress through metrics and, capacity utilization to ensure production schedules are met.

- Identifying and acting upon areas for improvement within our operations and workflows as we scale.

- Set team project priorities based on organizational needs and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 3-6 years of operational experience/program mgmt. exp from ecom company

- Knowledge of systems and product.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, in addition to exceptional listening skills to properly assess the needs of the assignments.

- Self-directed, Competitive spirit, strong work ethic, takes initiative and works under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task as well as a can-do attitude and be willing to help at all times.

- Ability to maintain effective ongoing discussions and collaborate effectively with a diverse mix of creative & marketing team members.

- Is not intimidated by complex processes, systems or information.

- Learns and adapts quickly, and enjoys learning how to use (and improve) new technology.

- Is innately curious and comfortable with ambiguity, asks insightful questions, and can take risks when necessary.

- Ability to analyze challenges and make good judgments given multiple considerations.

- Proficiency with Mac based programs and using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
