- Chartered accountant (or CFA / similar degrees)with min 6 years revenue facing or marketing roles
- Prior experience in Ecommerce, an added advantage
Job Description :
- Build a financial plan that aligns business objectives and develops a how list that builds the plan to the targets for the business
- Identify avenues where brands can invest more on monetisation and partner business to take the right calls
- Push for higher contractual monetisation in joint business plans, along with category teams and also identify gaps where brands are not investing / investing adequately
- Look at newer levers of ads income - 3P, private labels, customer monetisation
- Work with controllership on prompt collection of overdue receivables relating to monetisation
- Establish ROI on monetisation investments by brands, with right assessment of risks and opportunities
- Benchmarking competitive data on monetisation by top brands and other 3P avenues

- Develop clear understanding of key business drivers, analyse key financial and non-financial metrics, provide value add analysis, for informed decision making to top management
- Does rigorous data based analysis for any decision making scenario, bringing out business insights not visible in regular reviews

- Understands the next level of details / top macro story for his function - industry trends, customer, brands, competition and is able to leverage that understanding to drive insights / analysis and connect with bottom up business drivers / data
- Ability to guide, influence and partner with finance / business management teams, identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers
- Ability to bring in strategic thought process in planning, right trade offs and guidelines established.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond with right trade offs
- Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exception / inconsistencies or process gaps, initiate action and follow-up for logical closure
- Takes a balanced view of business reality and process controls in every decision framework
- With minimal guidance, demonstrates ability to set broader agenda for a large, critical part of the business and takes people through that
- Handle complex adhoc request with a short turnaround time and supplement such request with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making
