Job Overview:
Candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the mutual fund business, including building and managing a high-performing team, driving sales, managing operations, and handling the client onboarding process. This role requires a strategic and operational leader to enhance business growth, improve client experience, and ensure seamless operations in the mutual funds segment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build, develop and manage a high-performing team across mutual fund sales, operations, and client onboarding.
2. Develop and execute strategies to drive the sales of mutual fund products.
3. Oversee the identification of target markets, sales opportunities, and promotional strategies.
4. Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Establish strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
6. Manage the daily operations of the mutual fund business, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Develop and oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for new clients.
8. Ensure that all client documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
9. Regularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and to address any concerns or queries.
10. Stay informed on market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and offerings.
11. Provide insights on the performance of mutual fund products and recommend enhancements or new product offerings
12. Ensure that all mutual fund operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
13. Regularly report on mutual fund performance, sales, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven ability to lead and build high-performing teams.
3. Strong track record in driving sales, building partnerships, and managing client relationships in the mutual fund
4. Deep understanding of mutual fund operations, fund administration, and regulatory requirements.
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the mutual fund industry, with a leadership role managing sales and operations teams.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
3. Basic understanding of financial markets, products, and services.
4. Ability to explain complex financial concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
