Person Summary : - Must be a Civil Engineer from with 15+ years of experience in managing Purchase function of a leading company - Should have experience as a Procurement Manager in a Real Estate field with Developer, major contractor - Should have good market knowledge especially in West Indian market - Mumbai / Pune - Should have good relations with major vendors, Building Contractors, Interior Contractors, M/ E / P / F Contractors - Should have worked in minimum two major Hotel / Mixed Use Developments / Residential Complexes / Infotech parks / Commercial Building - Should be fluent in English - Should have good negotiation skills - Should have sound knowledge of Contracts, applicable laws, taxation with respect to procurement in Real Estate field Job Summary : - The Group is looking for an experienced Head Procurement to support the Director Projects in effective decision-making, project management and execution of strategic initiatives. - Planning, coordination, scheduling, conducting coordination meetings, documenting issues and actions pertaining to construction schedule. - Review & co-ordination for project design with design team as per standards and project requirements considering the build ability aspects of the design. - Scrutinizing contracts / tender documents for formulating/reviewing conditions of contracts, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities, estimates, value engineering, statutory compliance of contracts & taxation, review of tenders and evaluations of day-to-day activities, analysis of rates & quantity surveying. - Techno-commercial operations, settlement of contract claims & disputes arising out of contract, anchoring arbitration proceedings, related documentation & co-ordination. - Formulation of project procurement strategy, Sourcing & Procurement of brought out items, identify & evaluate the risk analysis and develop mitigation plans that could result in control of cost and time over runs. - Well versed in cost management & quantity surveying across the project life cycle at various stages till contract closure. - Liaising with External Agencies, Architects, and Consultants for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances. Working on proposals and contracts aimed at developing contracts. - Supervising project activities and handling the complete project management cycle entailing requirement gathering, preparation of works method statement and final execution of projects; finalizing requirements / specifications upon discussions with Engineering Consultants, Technical Collaborators, External Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and Owners / Clients. - Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
