Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage the Loan against Property (LAP) vertical for the assigned region. The role involves driving business targets, managing a team of sales professionals, building channel relationships, and ensuring compliance with credit and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve LAP disbursement targets for the assigned region.
- Identify high-potential catchments and drive lead generation through self-sourcing and channel partners.
- Forge and maintain relationships with DSAs, connectors, property consultants, and other sourcing channels.
Team Management:
- Train, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Relationship Officers.
- Regularly monitor team performance, ensure productivity, and provide mentoring/coaching to achieve team KPIs.
Credit and Process Adherence:
- Coordinate with the credit team to ensure quick TAT for login to disbursal.
- Ensure quality sourcing with minimal deviations and adherence to credit policy.
- Monitor file movement across login, sanction, and disbursal stages.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track regional sales performance through dashboards and MIS reports.
- Analyse competitor activities and provide feedback to senior management.
- Forecast sales trends and market conditions to proactively adjust strategy.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with internal teams - Credit, Operations, Legal, and Collections for smooth end-to-end processing.
- Conduct regular meetings and feedback sessions with channel partners and customers.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred) with 8-10 years of relevant experience in LAP or secured lending with 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven regional leadership experience in retail loan products.
- Strong understanding of LAP underwriting norms, documentation, and market practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
