Munich Re Role Profile Job Title: Rewards &amp; HR Services Specialist, India Base Location: Mumbai, India Reporting To: Head of HR, India Experience : 3-5 years Employment Status : Full Time Employee Job Purpose : - A key role in the India HR team providing comprehensive HR services support to the businesses ensuring effective remuneration, rewards &amp; benefits administration in a timely and effective manner. - Proactively contribute to continuous improvements in HR operational topics and employee practices that support achievement of business objectives and regional alignment. Key Responsibilities 1. Payroll administration: - Processing of monthly payroll - Expatriate salary payment &amp; tax calculations - Payment of allowances and incentives - Enrolling new employees in payroll - Terminating employees from payroll - Processing of year end payroll processes linked to investment proofs / tax structures / generation of Form 16 etc. - Payroll processing for third party payroll + consultants - Provident Fund monthly processing + new enrolments/ transfers / exit cases 2. Remuneration &amp; Rewards Management: - Remuneration review process - Benchmarking and survey management - Remuneration analysis and reporting - Benefits reviews - Coordination with Regional Rewards Team and implementation of global and regional programs - Assistance with manpower planning and reconciliation 3. Benefits Administration: - Ensure timely coverage of employees under all benefits - Assist Head HR with annual renewal of insurances - Assist employees process benefits claims - Timely introduction of new benefits as per Munich Re regional practices / statutory requirements 4. Labour Compliances: - Ensure timely submissions of all regulatory / statutory labour compliances - Ensure compliance with all regulatory / statutory / labour requirements - Implementation of the New Wage Code 5. Audit, Risk &amp; Compliance : - Assist with annual statutory audit, cyber audit, IFC audit etc. - Assist with internal audit - Assist with IRDA audit 6. HR Project Management - Initiating, project managing and implementing HR initiatives and improvements, ranging from policy updates / introduction to project implementation Education &amp; Experience - Tertiary qualifications in appropriate area (e.g. Business, Human Resources, Psychology) (essential). - Minimum 3 years Operational HR experience including all facets of HR Service / Administration and Payroll in Indian jurisdiction is essential - Experience in developing and maintaining robust and business focussed relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring service delivery is proactive and relevant, is essential and enabling those relationships in the team. - The ability to develop and deliver key messages on the range of HR challenges and topics concisely and in the most relevant manner. - Financial services experience and understanding of business and industry pressures and challenges is preferred.
