Job Purpose: - To support Head of Pricing in the production of reinsurance quotes, pricing reports, reinsurance treaties and designated special projects. - To support MD Life/ Chief Actuary as and when required. Key Responsibilities: - To price and ensure that all reinsurance quotations meet the standards and parameters set out by MR and ensure that it meets MR's profitability targets - Ensure quality control of quotes and related documentation as per standards set out by MR - Ensure that all quotations adhere to the pricing approach and basis laid out by MR. - Promote Munich Re and its expertise through initiatives including presentations, seminars, client meetings, publications, and surveys. Build individual and MR India visibility in the market - Effective co-ordination with client managers and clients - Support MR India Branch in drafting/ reviewing reinsurance treaties - Upgrade knowledge and actuarial skills Capabilities &amp; Experience: - Excellent written and spoken English are required. - 2+ years- experience in Actuarial pricing and/or research. - Superior interpersonal and time management skills.. - A solution-based approach with the ability for complex problem solving - Strong analytical abilities including mathematics and statistical concepts. - Strong command of MS Office, SQL. - Knowledge of R, Python (preferred) Qualifications: - A (post) / graduate degree in a mathematical subject e.g. pure or applied mathematics, statistics, sciences, economics, finance. - Completion of CT series from the Institute of Actuaries of India and/or Institute or Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
