Responsibilities and Expectations : 1. Support the entire life cycle of the investment process including : a. Deal origination b. Deal screening c. Industry and company research d. Financial modelling e. Valuation analysis f. Due diligence g. Deal negotiations, finalizing legal agreements with investee companies and deal execution h. Portfolio management efforts post-closing 2. Liaise with key personnel in the portfolio companies for periodic portfolio monitoring and analysis. 3. Track key developments and research the sectors of the fund's investment mandate for identification of potential investment opportunities. 4. Develop rapport with investment bankers for deal sourcing 5. Prepare investment thesis, memos and other presentations for the review of the investment committee and the board of sponsor i.e. Multi-Act Trade and Investments 6. Coordinate with external agencies on tasks such as financial/legal/taxation/regulatory due diligence. 7. Review the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) periodically and help compliance and legal efforts in filing modified / amended PPM with the regulator. 8. Help the compliance and legal efforts in timely filing of regulatory reports and keeping abreast of regulations. 9 Co-ordinating with Limited Partners and resolve their queries if any. 10. Other tasks or projects as the firm may require. Qualifications and Education Requirements : Required Skills : - Engineer (preferably Computer Science), MBA-Finance, CFA - 2-3 years' prior experience in a fintech start up or a venture capital / private equity firm - High level of proficiency in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint Good to have : - Avid Reader of business models and investment related books - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Imaginative and independent thinker and keen learner - Ability to work independently with strong follow through - Extremely organized
