Multi-Act - Assistant Manager - Finance (2-4 yrs)
To assist the Manager - Finance in development, performance and maintenance of the financial activities which help management to develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Monthly financial results closing, financial analysis and reporting
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, payments, and other transactions
To handle :
- Periodic reviews, including budgeting and forecasting
- Direct and Indirect taxation matters
- Cash management and cash flow reporting
Audit :
- Liaise with auditors, clients and tax consultants as and when required
- Prepare financial returns and assist in dealing with regulatory bodies
- Liaise with banks on a regular basis for corporate account management
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
Required Skills :
- Chartered Accountant Inter with 2-4 years of finance and accounting experience preferably in a wealth management company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong background in handling taxation and audits
- Understanding of business principles and practices
Good to have :
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills - both written and oral with ability to communicate to both finance and non-finance teams
- Independent, self-motivated and meticulous
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
