Mu Sigma - Technical Project Manager - Internal Development Team (4-6 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Interact with testers and stakeholder teams to develop a strong understanding of the business processes
- Test Driven Development and passionate about or experience of Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends
- Technology evaluation and research into alternate viable solutions in the operational systems space as and when required
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the platform architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the solutions
- Hands-On development (20-25%) along with team building and project management
- Support production deployment of applications and perform "validation testing" during the off-hours maintenance windows
- Technical support and application maintenance
- Manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Guiding a team of developers, senior developers on both technical and functional aspects of the application
Skills & Competencies :
- Technical background and an understanding of the analytical industry
- Commercial delivery experience within complex, enterprise environments using Node.js/Express/Angular/React Programming frameworks
- Experienced in backend development, REST APIs and preferably Front-end development
- Good understanding of Design Patterns
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong database skills, mainly in RDBMS like PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, and experience with web architecture and applications design, Git, cloud services
- Demonstrate an understanding of IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls, routers, etc.
- Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
- Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance
