MTR Foods - Manager - Supply Chain Planning (3-8 yrs)

Main Challenges in this Position:

- Maintain high service level (stock availability in excess of 98% at a daily level)

- Ensure stock freshness.

- Optimise stock holding and thereby minimise working capital requirement.

- High degree of alignment to organisational needs to act as a bridge between sales and manufacturing.

Responsibility and Mandate:

- Collaborative production plan with manufacturing and ensure adherence to the plan.

- Finalise production schedule for MTO (make to order) as per agreed SLA with sales.

- Distribution planning and monitoring service level at CFAs for products being manufactured at Bangalore factory.

- On time and efficient despatch of stocks from factory to all CFAs.

- Manage factory warehouse with respect facility management, costs and productivity of warehouse personnel.

- Monitoring and updating SLOB status at the factory.

- FG inventory (Days on hand) for products manufactured at Bangalore factory.

- Timely launch of NPDs.

Main Tasks and/or Projects:

- Weekly production plan for all the production units.

- Daily distribution plan for all the CFAs.

- Review plan vs. Actual (production and distribution).

- Coordinate with plants for MTO (make to order) e.g. export production, CSD etc.

- Ensure placement of export containers as per production plan.

- Generate Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly MIS related to planning and warehouse logistics efficiency.

- Prepare yearly production budget for the factory.

Criteria for Evaluation:

- Forecast based DIFOT (delivery in full on time) for finished goods.

- No. of Days of FG Inventory.

- % stock within 2 months of shelf life.

- Manpower productivity (for factory warehouse operations).

- Despatch accuracy (% mis-pick).

Competence/Skills:

- Good Analytical Skills.

- Ability to deliver in constraint environment and manage complexities.

- Very good knowledge of MS Excel.

- Exposure to SAP.

- Good interpersonal skill.

Language Skills:

- English

- Hindi

- Advantage if Kannada or any other South Indian language is known.
