Job Responsibilities - Purchase Manager :
- Expertise in Cost plus conversion model & implementation.
- Identify Cost Effective Supplier and development to achieve 100% adherence to delivery & quality.
- Risk Assessment for supplier enrollment.
Deliver targets set for Purchase Price Variance, Innovation, Cost Avoidance, & Value Optimization in given category. Efficient Contract Management and periodic contract performance review.
- Risk Mitigation planning and sustainable sourcing measures for category.
- Daily Market Monitoring & Price Tracking. Seasonal/strategic Procurement recommendations and execution.
- Supplier Development for quality product supplies, future needs.
- Maintain 100% adherence to Supplier code of conduct & responsible sourcing. Budgeting and adherence review.
- Supplier Evaluation and Development. Contract Management.
- New Product Development support.
- Collaborative/ Cross functional cost efficiency projects.

- Basic IT skills like using MS Excel & Office, ERP & SAP etc.
Desired Experience :
- 3-7 years of experience in Agri/ processed/ milled Commodity Purchase (must) Agricultural Commodity trading (buying & Selling) / processing- Custom Milling or conversion experience.
- Purchasing for Private Label development in retail company/ export house (Spices, Pulses or Oil preferred).
- Experience in Import/ export of Food Products/ Spices/ Pulses/ Nuts or Vegetable Oil products (Spices/ Pulses Preferred).
