Head - Digital Marketing, E - Commerce & Retail
- Drive the digital agenda for MTR company & brand.
- Develop a robust e-commerce strategy- own portal/ market places and drive execution in partnership with the channel sales team.
- To drive sales and expansion of Namma MTR- MTR Foods- own stores through Local area activations.
- Build a 360 view of the health of the business, categories and brand and help build strong insights into the business overall to help drive targeted action.
- Drive sales and profit growth for own portal (e-commerce) and Namma MTR stores.
- Define and develop plans for MTR's successful play in digital marketing (along with Category leads) and e-commerce on the market places front (along with the sales team).
- Build a franchiseable proposition for Namma MTR for expansion across Karnataka.
- 2 cr total e-commerce spends; Retail team comprising of Retail Manager and Executives reporting to this role. Work includes working with Digital Agencies and Activation Agencies.
- Lead Digital mandate for MTR.
- Own the P&L for e-commerce and Namma NTR
- Drive sales with ATL (Digital) and Below the Line activities.
Criteria for Evaluation :
- Sales Growth on e-commerce and Namma MTR.
- Promotion effectiveness.
- Impact of Brand through Digital activations.
- On Time in Full execution of all plans.
Candidate Profile :
- Master's in Business Administration from top 25 B schools.
- 8+ years of work experience in digital and e-commerce space. Retail experience in brick and mortar would be an added benefit.
- Understanding of FMCG functioning desirable.
Experience :
- Consumer Goods marketing experience.
- Digital & e-Commerce marketing experience.
- Good understanding of business dynamics in India.
- Experience in packaged foods industry.
- Experience in managing a team.
Competence :
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing & E-Commerce.
- Analytical Skills.
- Prior project management experience.
- Understanding of FMCG sales system in India.
- Retail know how.
