Job Responsibilities of Associate Manager - Technical:

IQ-OQ-PQ - Critical role from NPD concept stage for Equipment optimisation, equipment specification & IQ, OQ & PQ completion. Critical in Project execution from R&D to Manufacturing.

To achieve NPD excellence.

Validation & Optimization of Process - All existing product manufacturing processes as well as processes of new products at MTR to be validated and optimized.

Exploration of advanced and adaptable Technology/equipment for improving process capability & reliability yet cost effective.

Troubleshooting of product and process related issues on the shop floor as well as market.

To assist smooth transition of NPD products and process to commercialization.

Identification of the need of Process Improvement and implement the same.

To validate BOM and process of existing and NPD as per defined frequency.

MOP validation for all MTR existing products and NPD.

Documentation and record keeping for R&D functions within timeframe.

BOM upload and cost verification.

Benchmarking of New Products relevant to MTR categories launched by competitors.

Liaise with all stakeholders during implementation of NPD.

Critical evaluation of HACCP anlysis during the product development stage and its implementation.

Networking with the Industry associations.

Imparting training on critical process, ingredients, storage, handling of RM and FG etc.

Linking consumer needs to NPD.

Criteria for Evaluation:

To aim for trouble free commercialization product launch.

For NPD from commercial run to implementation in shop floor.

For existing all products BOM validation, process validation and correction twice in a year.

Troubleshooting work for any new and existing projects.

BOM upload and modification.

MOP validation work for all MTR existing products.

Desired Skills & Experience:

M. Tech/ M.Sc/B Tech in Food Technology preferably from CFTRI Mysore, UICT Mumbai, Jadavpur University, Calcutta, HBTI, Kanpur etc.

Experience of 6+ years in R & D(Foods), with specific 4 years of operational experience is most preferred. Experience of 1-2 years in Quality Assurance area will be a added advantage.

New product development (quality, packing, P & L, Operationalization - scaling up, newer products.

Knowledge of Product quality and Operational consistency.

Quality guidelines for procuring raw materials (Support vendor development & quality standards at vendor site).

New line commissioning & installation/ Capacity enhancement

Setting standards : Quality / Design & adherence to SOPs quality & hygiene standards.

Passionate on acquiring knowledge & building new range of Authentic Indian cuisines.
