Your team responsibilities

Marketing Effectiveness Analyst

The Marketing Effectiveness Analyst is expected to proactively analyse data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for changes to budget investment and marketing strategies.

The role reports to the Regional Head of Index Marketing and plays an important role in supporting the growth of MSCI's index business.

The person will bring marketing knowledge and an appetite for financial products to ultimately support the objectives set by the Global Head of Product Marketing.

As well as supporting the wider Index Marketing team on planning, developing, coordinating, and executing product launches and campaigns, the Index Marketing Effectiveness Analyst will be responsible for bringing data led decision making to the heart of the marketing team approach and will work with colleagues across both Marketing and Product.

The role will have broad responsibility to produce meaningful metrics for the business and offer fact-based insights to help guide strategies for brand positioning, client retention and development, pricing, product innovation, industry partnerships, and cost-effective methods for attracting new business.

The successful candidate will join a team of four Index product marketers globally and will report to the Regional Head of Index Marketing based in London.

Your key responsibilities

Marketing campaign support and coordination

Responsibility for the delivery of campaign analysis and performance reporting

Day to day budget management and ROI champion

Client segmentation and insights

Competitive intelligence gathering

Industry and client research

Proactive identification of analytical opportunities to expand our insight and drive greater efficiency of marketing activity.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

University degree in marketing, finance, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Pardot and Qliksense dashboard preferred

Sound understanding of marketing effectiveness and measurement techniques

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects/plans and work well under pressure to meet deadlines

Ability to navigate marketing analysis/measurement and CRM platforms including Salesforce.

Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and take a proactive approach.

To be successful in this role, you'll be highly numerate, commercially aware and have knowledge across customer marketing disciplines

You will have a keen understanding and passion for data driven marketing including the development of: marketing metrics, client insight and marketing campaign performance KPIs

Naturally inquisitive with strong analytical skills
