Manager/Assistant Manager Skills and Experience : Technical competencies for the role (Mention Primary and Secondary skills) : 1. Sound knowledge of corporate compensation and benefits practices including labor law compliance maters. 2. Good knowledge about all statutory returns filing i.e. PF,ESI,PT,LWF, attendance management, leave management, drafting CTC structure including flexi benefit options, payslip management, full and final settlement, employee queries about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions 3. Able to give attention to details with zero error approach and must be organized, disciplined and professional in attitude and approach 4. Good knowledge about Income tax investment plans, experience in handling labour law compliances for multiple states including preparation of various registers. Behavioral competencies for the role (Mention critical skills) : 1. Strong in communication with external & internal stakeholders, 2. Team work/ Managing Self/ Adaptability Experience (what type and how much experience are needed) : Minimum 4 years Qualification (what certifications, licenses and education level required for the role : 1. Graduate and/or MBA in HR from a good Business school with a consistently good academic track record 2. Data gathering ability/ Eye for detail 3. Experience in Payroll processing for Indian Payroll system 4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications Key Responsibilities: 1. Overall responsibility of payroll processing and administration - ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll, manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to beaccurate and truthful i.e. Investments declaration, Form 16, Tax Returns, ensuring time lines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance 2. Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations ofincome tax, verification & reconciliation of monthly payroll, calculation and deposit of monthly liability of TDS on salaries, preparation & submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns 3. Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard Desired Outcome: 1) 100% adherence to timelines 2) Accuracy 3) Employee query resolution
