About mPokket

mPokket is a mobile app based lending platform that provides instant and paperless loans. We currently provide micro loans to college students in India. Our technology architecture and processes allow us to seamlessly onboard users, assess risk, and disburse and collect funds without any physical interface with our customers.

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager/ Specialist to help our company find and retain excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees. You will be closely working with our Technology team to build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions and other roles as well.

Responsibilities

- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks). Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews

- Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts. Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans

- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System

- Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience. Assist in employee retention and development

- Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement

- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events

- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

What are we looking for in you?

- Proven work experience (minimum 4 to 8 years) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role with Degree in Human Resources or related field. Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles is a plus!

- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, various job boards and professional networks

- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations

- Entrepreneurial spirit - Hustle and get work done

- Eagerness to work in a start-up environment. Exposure to a start-up culture is a plus
