Who are we?

- Mobile Premier League (MPL) is a real money gaming platform where users compete in live tournaments in their favorite skill based mobile games to win real money.

- Competition and Gaming have a long history, they are two sides of the same coin and go hand in hand. Money makes competition legit and meaningful and in fact more fun.

- Wagering on Skill Based Mobile Games in Legal in most countries., and giving users a chance to test their skills in the games they anyhow play against other users is arguably the most fun way to make money in the world.

- In terms of Numbers, there are a total of 200 Mn Mobile Gamers in India and about 150 Mn Mobile Gamers in SEA., this number is expected to touch anywhere between 750Mn to 1B by 2020. The number 1 E-Sports Platform in this region by that time will be the singular place where all these players will come to compete and test their skills and eventually win MONEY!

Why are we rightly positioned to win this market?

- MPL is started by folks who have lead large product teams in the past in companies like Zynga, Barclays, Citi, Ola Etc. Not only that, the founders are experienced entrepreneurs who sold their previous company (Sequoia portfolio) to Hike (Indian Unicorn).

- Along with a great team, we also have raised our Series A in less than 2 months after we have started from Sequoia Capital and Bee next Ventures. Two top tier Funds to enable us to win the India and SEA Markets.

What's this Role all about?

- Product Management at MPL requires a combination of outstanding analytical skills, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate and create world-class products and experiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- You manage the product development process from conception through design, release, and iteration.

- You ensure that product development and iteration decisions are based on strong logical rigor and in-depth analysis.

- You Obsess over Metrics that define that success or failure of the product/feature and work tirelessly towards improving them

Qualities we like in our Leaders:

- Extremely Metric Focused - The metric that matters the most in our business is Player Games per day. The more the merrier.

- Outcome Focused and not Output focused - Simply put, it really matter how much you or your team work. The only thing that matters is whether the above metric moved positively or not

- Less is More - Has the ability to deconstruct a large problem into simple tasks for their teams and Prefers doing Fewer things very well rather than doing many things very poorly

- Specialists - The captain of every team has to be good at something., we believe that the leader has to be a specialist at one discipline it may be the product, business development or marketing or anything for that matter.

- Embrace Uncertainty: Startups are all about who reacts better and faster., leaders who win are usually folks who can embrace uncertainty and react fast to win!

Prior Experience:

- We are looking for folks who in the past have either ran successful teams or have been a part of one.

- Prior Work Experience of at least 3 - 4 Years. 

- Any prior consumer internet experience in a product, business or a marketing role is a plus.

- MBA is a Plus and prior Start Up experience is a Plus Plus.
