Position: Manager / Senior Bid-Manager Position Type: Permanent Location: Bangalore Job Description: - End-to-End Project Manage the assigned Bid for the client/geo/portfolio - Minimum 7 years with Bid-Management role - Engage in qualified sales opportunities to deliver a proposal for opportunities - Manage the response process against RFIs / RFPs and ensure that all the milestones and deliverables get met in a timely manner - Identify interdependencies and develop an overall bid project plan with tasks, milestones, deliverables, and associated timelines for proposal preparation activities and tracks. Manage the Bid plan throughout the Bid Process - Engage, coordinate within the Bid Team (Sales, practices, COE- s, Delivery, pre-sales etc) to help produce deliverables according to clients expectations, within time-critical schedules - Validate Preliminary approvals and timely heads up to Aligned Functions - Organize/ Initiate a Solution Workshop/ calls to finalize, freeze the Sizing, Solution design as per the RFP requirements - Act as the initial escalation point for Bid-team issues. Formal progress/status reports published to Bid Team &amp; Leadership team - Interface with other Proposal Support roles (i.e., Technical/Domain Specialists, Proposal Writers, and Practices) and other internal sources to help build/populate the proposal documents. - Facilitate pricing development. Work with Pricing to collate pricing approvals - Ensure that compliance with all relevant aspects of the Solution Design and Delivery process, business control, reviews and a timely closure of Approvals before Bid submission - Deliver a final approved proposal documents to the Client in accordance with Mphasis business rules and standard processes - Provide support in Lead Generation, Account Planning, Research &amp; Collateral Development and customer visits Pre-Requisites: - Excellent communication &amp; multi-stakeholder coordination skills is a must - A minimum Bid-Management/Pre-Sales experience of 7 years is a must - Strong experience with Application Services
