Job Description for Assistant Manager - Bid/ Pitch management Traget Institutes - IIM, IIT, XLRI,MDI / Tier 1 B schools The role: The Assistant Manager - Bid/ Pitch management will support the business by planning and managing the Bid/Pitch response &amp; Pursuit Governance process to create &amp; deliver winning proposal/Pitch. The focus of this role is to manage the pursuit/pitch process and engage with all parts of the business to ensure a professional, compliant and compelling proposal/pitch is submitted. Roles &amp; Responsibilities: - Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of the allocated sections of Bid/Pitch/Lead submissions - Responsible for pursuit governance process/review of the submissions against client requirements - Leads Pursuit Process &amp; Drives the Pitches/Leads for successful submission &amp; conversions. - Planning, writing and coordinating Bid/Pitch responses - Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of Bids/Pitches; - Project Management of all aspects of pursuit/Pitch from kick-off through Bid/Pitch Submission - Establishes &amp; manages pursuit calendar/Pitch submission with key review/ pursuit milestones - Formulates the pursuit/Pitch team by reaching out to respective functions within the organization [Sales, Solutioning, Delivery, Practice, CoE, Finance/Pricing, Legal, RE etc] - Runs pursuit/Pitch strategy along with pursuit (or Pitch) team/pursuit leader (or Pitch) to establish WIN themes - Responsible for Creation, tracking and controlling proposal/Pitch response document &amp; documents required for review checkpoints - Provides vertical specific collateral and case study support - Extends Pursuit/Pitch specific market intelligence and competitive intelligence to team - Supports sales, AM team in Account Profiling and Planning. Program manages periodic updates and reviews with leadership. - Supports leadership in preparation and periodic review of regional business plans Preferred Qualification / Experience: - BE / BTech / BBA / BSc / BCom with MBA with experience in IT services with 0-3 years- experience. - Demonstrated track record of successful Bid/Pitch Management of large / medium size deals/pitches. - Must have experience in pre-sales or technical support in areas like Application Development, Application Maintenance and Enterprise Services etc &amp; should have worked on global outsourcing deals &amp; strategic Pitches. - Experience in using standard market research tools viz., Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Ovum, iProfile, Google research, Hoovers etc to bring necessary market and competitive intelligence - Strong domain understanding &amp; experience with any of the following industries such as Banking &amp; Capital Markets, Telecom, Retail, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare or Transportation Preferred Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong analytical &amp; interpersonal skills with proficiency in MS Office - Self-starter with ability to define and refine strategy for effective results - Assertive personality, diving into details with enthusiasm to work in a changing, fast-growth environment. - Business-savvy individual with proven stakeholder and people management skills. - Ability to understand the requirements of the customer and map it to service offerings, expertise and capabilities of the organization
