We are looking for a Principal/ Investment Manager to lead the entire lifecycle of investments of the Mount Judi India Growth Fund. The person will be the key point of contact with potential investee &amp; portfolio companies. The role would include: - Actively explore the start-up ecosystem like Angels &amp; VCs, incubators, accelerators, Investment Bankers, and Source new investment opportunities - Evaluate opportunities, identify right prospects and build a strong deal pipeline - Lead the deals through the investment process of internal and external diligence and obtain approvals from investment and compliance committees - Coordinate entire process of external due diligence, structuring, negotiations, contracting and deal closure - Lead the portfolio monitoring process via close interaction with the management of portfolio companies - Identify appropriate time to exit from portfolio companies and Manage the exit - Develop knowledge base through research on various industries and identify sectors of interest - Pro-actively contribute to fund level thinking and strategy Skills and Qualifications : - Overall work experience of 12+ years for Principal or 8+ years for Manager - Venture Capital / Private Equity / Financing / Consulting experience is preferred - Ability to develop key insight and understanding of various sectors - Ability to build strong network across the start-up ecosystem - Represent the Fund at Board level of portfolio companies - Excellent task ownership and team building skills and handle ambiguity - Handle multiple priorities to plan &amp; manage a variety of projects simultaneously. - Strong analytical and communication skills - CA, CFA or MBA from a top-tier management school About Mount Judi Ventures : Mount Judi Ventures is set up as a growth stage, ethical investment fund based in Bengaluru with an initial corpus of up to Rs. 100 Cr. The fund is sector agnostic and will be investing primarily in start-ups in their growth stage seeking capital to expand into different geographies, customer segments and/or products/ services. The fund will also be investing a portion of the corpus in innovative financing structures.
